1936	Founded as Taiyo Bussan Goshi Kaisha, a trading company specializing in agricultural products.
1941	Reorganized as TAIYO BUSSAN KAISHA, LTD.
1953	Began trade with the People’s Republic of China.
1955	Designated by the Food Agency of Japan as an authorized importer of rice and wheat.
1959	Developed and imported lamb products from New Zealand and Australia, introducing them to the Japanese ham and sausage industry.
1963	Imported buckwheat from China under the Japan-China Memorandum Trade Agreement.
1966	Opened a representative office in Beijing, China.
1980	Designated a specialized broiler export factory in Shandong Province, China.
1984	Opened a representative office in Guangzhou, China.
1991	Opened Fukuyama Office in Hiroshima Prefecture.
1993	Established Xuzhou Taipeng Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu Province, China.
1996	Relocated the head office to Azabudai, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
2003	Opened a representative office in Shanghai, China.
2004	Listed shares on the JASDAQ Securities Exchange.
2008	Established Shanghai Taiyo Eiko Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
2020	Relocated the head office to Ichigaya-Sadohara-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
2022	Shinsuke Matsushima appointed as President and Representative Director.
2022	Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market.
