1936Founded as Taiyo Bussan Goshi Kaisha, a trading company specializing in agricultural products.
1941Reorganized as TAIYO BUSSAN KAISHA, LTD.
1953Began trade with the People’s Republic of China.
1955Designated by the Food Agency of Japan as an authorized importer of rice and wheat.
1959Developed and imported lamb products from New Zealand and Australia, introducing them to the Japanese ham and sausage industry.
1963Imported buckwheat from China under the Japan-China Memorandum Trade Agreement.
1966Opened a representative office in Beijing, China.
1980Designated a specialized broiler export factory in Shandong Province, China.
1984Opened a representative office in Guangzhou, China.
1991Opened Fukuyama Office in Hiroshima Prefecture.
1993Established Xuzhou Taipeng Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu Province, China.
